...the more that you chase it, the more it will elude you; but if you turn your attention to other things, it will come and sit softly on your shoulder.
This week I'm trying to mindfully wander through life, rather than chasing a form of elusive happiness. I'm doing this by painting, going for wanders down to the sea, early morning runs along the promenade at Saltdean, and taking my bike with my husband up to the South Downs before the world has awoken.
I feel quite peaceful with my artwork and the natural world around me. That metaphorical butterfly has definitely found a friend in me.
